Carbon Counts undertakes technical and policy oriented consulting assignments for private and public sector clients in the field of energy & climate change.
It draws on over 10 years research and consulting experience of its Directors, Paul Zakkour and Gregory CookWe also associate and partner with other technical experts to provide multi-disciplinary support for larger assignments.

Our expertise

Carbon Counts is an independent consultancy in the field of climate change. It has a focus on international climate change policy, in particular technology development, deployment, financing and regulation.  
Our experience covers development of low carbon policies and strategies, design and implementation of market-based mechanisms,  design and compilation of greenhouse gas accountign rules, inventories and protocols, and modelling & analytical studies of climate policy and carbon market functioning.
